When I try dialing these numbers from within Lync I will get a message saying "this number is not in service".

Dialing from a regular land line and or cell phone works fine.

I've had reports of 866 numbers not working as well but I haven't been able to verify this as of yet.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

Would you please elaborate your Lync environment (Voice Routing)?

From your description above, it may be the issue of normalization rule or the issue of route/voice policy/trunking configuration.

So please double check the Voice Routing setting using Lync Server Control Panel, and test each setting using the test module, make sure each setting works without issue.
